You have been raised to life with Christ, so set your hearts on the things that are in heaven, where Christ sits on his throne at the right side of God. Keep your minds fixed on things there, not on things here on earth.

Our heavenly vocation, among other things is Heavenly peace in us, with our neighbor and with God. This peace God will anchor deep in our hearts. Therefore God has forgiven our sins, that there is peace in our hearts and peace with God. This is why God wants us to forgive all those, who did wrong on us. And because of that God wants us to live in peace with our surroundings. But sometimes this peace with my fellow men fails on me, because I do not listen to Jesus, and sometimes it fails on my fellow human beings, because they want to frighten me and wished me evil. Jesus wants to change and transform me into His image, so that others have an easier time with me. In the Sermon on the Mount we find many tips about how we should behave. Who calls the shirt of you, the give even the coat! If someone takes you to court to sue you for your shirt, let him have your coat as well. And if one of the occupation troops forces you to carry his pack one mile, carry it two miles.If you now that someone has something against you, then first put it in order and then come to the altar of the LORD ! Do not look at what belongs to your fellow man and do not desire it! Do good to your enemies! I think one can summarize it this way: Whenever I am in the right or have a right to anything, there will be dispute and strife. This „law " we should give up. Because I always have to fight for my right or even have to defend it. We should rather receive and accept everything from Jesus! Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody. As the Bible says in Romans 12. God knows, it is not always possible. Abraham separated from Lot because there was a constant argument. Paul and Barnabas have separated because they had a fight. In 1 Corinthians 7 it is said: However, if the one who is not a believer wishes to leave the Christian partner, let it be so. God has called you to live in peace. We should not hold on to things that lead to disputes. We are blessed of the Lord, and can accommodate the others generously. Even if we get the short end of the stick materially, the peace of God is worth it. Now be blessed with the peace of God which surpasses all reason!Thank you, Jesus, You take care of me! I do not need to defend my right frantically. In You I have everything I need. Thanks for Your heavenly peace and joy! I want to lose it in no circumstances! Only with You I am safe and secure.
