A Watered Garden – 2016.10.21

The Lord will guide you continually
and provide for you, even in parched places.
He will rescue your bones.
You will be like a watered garden,
like a spring of water that won’t run dry.
Isaiah 58:11

God wants to bless and bless us and bless even more. But we do not listen very well to Him. Sometimes we make compromises with the world, sometimes we doubt His deeds. But He is ready to do good and the best to us, He even waits for us!
He wants us to be a light in the midst of darkness light, to shine like the noon. He wants us to be like a watered oasis in the desert, like a spring He has watered. He has a great purpose for us! He will lay all His power and glory down on us!
He does not promise that it will always be easy for us and we will walk on clouds. But He knows there will be darkness, darkness, dry land and drought. But in the middle we will be blessed and we will be a blessing; – A watered garden in parched places.
The prerequisite for this blessing is that we share with others, put an end to oppression, don’t slander others and point our finger at them, open our heart to the hungry, and provide abundantly for those who are afflicted (verse 9f). Just as God is concerned about us, we should be concerned about others.
Our God is a great God, He will make His promise come true!
Thank you, Jesus for bringing with You all the wealth, the blessings and power! Thanks, You fed me up even in parched lands. You make me feel like a watered garden, rich with flowers, fragrance and beauty. Glory and beauty, these are Your characteristics. Thank You for trying to realize that through me!
