As in the spring  –  2021.01.07

The desert and the parched land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.
Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom;
it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.
Isaiah 35:1f.

A few days ago I found myself thinking about the great revival at the end of days. The thought came into my mind that it will be like springtime. Something stirring here and there. The sun will shine for a longer time. It will be getting warmer. The larks will rise in the air and sing. The trees will go into bud, and later leaves. The wind will blow in balmy air. The clouds will shine and pass by…. Everything will be as it always is, you don’t really see any changes and yet every day spring continues to advance. And if you remember the last week, you see how quickly everything has developed within a week.
Is this what revival is supposed to be like? – I asked. Yes, was the answer. No one is straining, everyone is happy, everything is on the move, everyone is flocking to their gardens to take advantage of the weather. It is as if a starting signal has been given and now everyone is setting off. But everyone is cheerful, calm, full of drive and energy. The hibernation is over, the curtains are drawn away, the windows are opened and spring arrives. – That’s revival.
Hmm, I thought, so that’s how it is. But I still needed a lot of time to think. I hadn’t really imagined it like this…. But after a while I was happy, because revival is not stressful, it does not mean more work. It is God’s revival and not mine ….. Yes, and today I am happy about it. It’s going to be really great!

Thank You Jesus, You always explain everything so clearly. You know, sometimes I take on the ideas of others, and then I get tense and stressed. But with You everything is a joy, it’s not a cramp. With You it’s wonderful!
