Be Free – 2017.03.25

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Gal 5, 1
I want to be a free man. What would I rather ??
And through Jesus I have become really free. Before, the opinion of others interested me very much. And when they mocked, I made myself small and adapted to that. I do not want to!
I do not want to  wear a mask any longer. When I walk through the city, I see many people who have a face like stone. One can not see whether they are happy or sad, whether they are happy or unhappy. Their face is cool as stone, like a mummy, the main thing to be without any emotions.
But Jesus did not want that! He has made us free people with feelings and not mummies without emotion!
If this is a permanent condition, this mask is our ego. Then we really have no more feelings, then we are in the interior cold, motionless, actually more dead than alive.
So I decided to show when I’m cheerful and happy. It may be that it sometimes goes too far or hurts others. But now and then upset is certainly better than always operating as a mummy. Jesus wants me alive, wants to set me free, and He wants that I am happy and cheerful!
Yes, Lord, I want to take this freedom and live in it. I’m tired of walking around as a mummy, so no one can hurt me any more. You will protect me and if anyone hurts me, then you will comfort me. Yes, Lord, I want to be free to show my feelings! Thank You that take me in a bad mood, my discord and my “growl” and make me a man with good mood, happy and satisfied! With you I have reason for that!
How great, Jesus, that you set me free! What interests me is the opinion of others, only if you love me! You are with me, and that makes me happy and thankful! You forgive every sin and every little misstep, you do not carry it after me when I hurt others by my joy.  You rejoice over me!
