Why do the nations plan rebellion? Why do people make their useless plots? Their kings revolt, their rulers plot together against the Lord and against the king he chose. “Let us free ourselves from their rule,” they say; “let us throw off their control.” From his throne in heaven the Lord laughs and mocks their feeble plans. Then he warns them in anger and terrifies them with his fury. “On Zion, my sacred hill,” he says, “I have installed my king.” “I will announce,” says the king, “what the Lord has declared. He said to me: ‘You are my son; today I have become your father. Ask, and I will give you all the nations; the whole earth will be yours. You will break them with an iron rod; you will shatter them in pieces like a clay pot.’” Now listen to this warning, you kings; learn this lesson, you rulers of the world: Serve the Lord with fear; tremble and bow down to him; or else his anger will be quickly aroused, and you will suddenly die. Happy are all who go to him for protection.
Psalm 2

It really seems to be like that: Somehow there is chaos in the world. Everywhere you hear of wars and civil wars and other disasters. And the so-called democrats campaign for any dirt in the Gender Agenda. It is quite untenable in the world…
How good that we have Jesus! Even in the largest chaos He remains the rock, which is solid and secure. And we can hide at Him. He is our protection! He has promised: Because you are devoted to me, I’ll rescue you. I’ll protect you because you know my name. (Psalms 91:14).
It may be that this is really end time and Jesus comes back soon. Then He will raise up His kingdom – a kingdom of peace and justice. It may be that the chaos in the world still increases and becomes bigger. But He permits it so that everyone recognizes: He is the only eternal, indestructible hope and confidence. He is the rock!
Sometimes we do not see that God always is the Lord. The suffering, injustice and hatred are soooo big! But He, who created sky and earth, He still stands above that chaos and keeps His children firmly in His mighty hand!

Thank you, Jesus, how good is it to be on Your safe side! You guide Your children safely even trough the most difficult times. Yes, with You I am safe and secure. You are my rock on whom I stand safely.
