Don’t Fear! – 2015.05.05
Don’t fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are mine.
Isaiah 43:1
This verse is very, very important to me. I am reciting it constantly, loud or in thoughts. Because it’s important to me that I always know: God is there, standing by my side and helping me through.
Now the new week and the stress and the pressure are starting again. Nice to see that we have the Sunday, where we can relax and unwind without time pressure! And during the week a little stress is good, then we keep moving. But sometimes it’s a bit too much and too much must be done necessarily. Time is running, appointments are waiting. So it’s good to remember constantly that the heavenly Father is with us.
Advertisements and politics do know: What is constantly repeated turns to truth and the people believe it; – No matter how big the nonsense and the lie is. We can use this for our advantage and constantly recite the truth of Jesus:
I do not fear, for God has redeemed me; He has called me by name; I am His.
We can start this before breakfast and then on the way to work, if we are stuck in a traffic jam, and while working; until the night, we can recite the truth. God will not abandon His child when it clings to Him. He will surround it lovingly, affectionately, friendly and protectively.
There is a song of this verse, and since getting up this morning I calmly sing it. Yes, I’m secure, safe and happy, because I want to believe this truth of God, rely on it and not let myself be discouraged by stress, pressure and worries. For He is there!!
Thank You, Heavenly Father, I am Your child! You’re there, so I am not afraid. You have redeemed me, so I do not bow to worries and stress. You know my name, I am not nothing in a large mass; You see me, know me and shelter me in Your hand. Yes, I am Yours; You take care of Your property and Your children. Thank You, Father, with You I am safe and secure, no matter what may come today.
