Ephesians 5, 18-20
Don’t get drunk on wine, which produces depravity. Instead, be filled with the Spirit in the following ways: Speak to each other with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; sing and make music to the Lord in your hearts; always give thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
Ephesians 5, 18-20
Do you want to live with God and to experience more with Him? Then follow the instructions of His word! Then, your own life will be bright and light and it will have a positive impact on your surroundings; – You’ll see miracles!
The name Jesus means: God helps. Not: God may help or: Oh God, please just help! No, it simply and directly means: God helps. If you are standing in a traffic jam and say “Jesus”, you mean: God is helping me here in traffic. If you’re sick, you say God is helping me in my illness. Whenever we lovingly say the name of Jesus, we tell the truth: God helps!
Of course, God wants us to believe what we say. Otherwise, every prayer is an empty phrase and without an effect.
The Bible tells us that we should worship and praise Him with words, prayers, songs and psalms. We should thank Him for anything, anytime. Well, then we can begin: The whole day we want to thank God, loud or quiet (depending on audience). In anything and everything, anywhere and anytime, we want to see the good side for which we can thank. It will be a workout. At first, it is a decision and it will quickly be forgotten. But after a week, we are going to thank Him in every quiet minute and after a month there is hardly a break. What do you think, does God not want to be there, where His name is glorified? Does He not want to intervene where you thanked Him? Does He himself not want to make you a good man with great charisma? Yes, He will do it!!
Thank You, Jesus, You help me to become a good person that You want to have! Your Holy Spirit reminds me of Your great deeds. He should fill my heart bringing peace and joy! And I want You to praise You all my life! For You are the Lord who loves me!
