For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor height nor depth, nor any other creature can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Paul says: I am sure, I know exactly, I’m there 100 percent sure … and us?
Our faith is not always so firm. Sometimes our feelings play a prank on us and we lose our confidence. Sometimes our situation is very confused and difficult, and we keep Jesus our hope, , not in sight.
God wants to give us courage. Our faith depends on Him and not so much from us. His love is infinite, it is not destroyed, not by us nor by others, it cannot even be reduced: It is always wholehearted. Once we have taken the salvation in Jesus, as His yes is an eternal Yes. He is likely never otherwise, He keeps His Word.
Whether we live or not in this love which depends solely on us. But if God stands by His word only depending on his decision. And his decision is a full Yes, once we have become serious with Jesus He becomes our king. This love of God is in Jesus Christ a reality. Through Him we become children of God.
Let us not get distracted from Jesus by our feelings or difficulties! Only with Him, close to His heart, can we live in this love of God.
We prefer to believe His word of love other than all that wants to destroy our confidence. He has forgiven our sins. He is the one who lives in our hearts. He keeps His strong hand on us. He provides us with all good gifts. He gives hope, comfort, safety, security, peace, joy. He is very, very close! And we want to re-open the door of our heart to Him and live intimately with Him.
Yes, Jesus, I come back to you. I will not look at my feelings and difficulties, but on your large, overflowing love! Please come, and make my heart back to the light of hope! Yes, I want to believe it and rely on it: You’re the one who loves me infinitely!
