The Lord your God is with you;
his power gives you victory.

God has emotions! He is not an automaton, which always applies just the right principles. He is not a lawful judge who pays attention to every little thing. He is not in far, impersonal distance. No, He is the God who loves His children!
Yesterday we were in the Circus. Of course, this cost a lot, but when I saw the glowing eyes of the little ones, I thought it could have cost twice as much, so much I was glad about their joy. When I see her sparkling eyes, I am pleased with them and like it to do them a favour.
Some years ago I took my big ones from a summer camp. But all the way home they just whined and told only bad things. I myself spent some time in the camp, and really enjoyed the good atmosphere there. If some little things were then not so good, so you still don’t need to complain for hours. Well, my heart was a little injured because I wanted to do them good and they just wailed.
I know Christians who are being overwhelmed by God with gifts. They aglow with happiness that they have such a good heavenly Father! And I know Christians who can rarely manage something. They are disgruntled and joyless.
We rather want to rejoice in the presence of God and His great love for us! We want to accept Him as our Father, who only and ever wants to do good for us! Let us rejoice, for He delights in us!

Thank you, Father in heaven, You like to gift me! So many things You’ve done, so I can be happy! And You Yourself are constantly with me. How could I not rejoice and be
glad? How well that we can go through the day together carefree, You and me. Yes, Father, I love You!
