He gives Strength – 2016.12.23

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Isaiah 40,29
… Even youths grow tired and weary
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
they will soar like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
What an amazing promise from God!  Sometimes we are so disappointed, devastated and totally despondent.  But God wants to lift us up again! That goes for all who trust in the Lord.
There is no need for special technology, no lengthy praying and fasting, really only trust.  He doesn’t keep us waiting for long. He brings about  refreshment and encouragement;- how are we supposed to achieve this on our own?  Not even a strong cup of coffee helps against discouragement, only the Holy Spirit!
It is rather difficult for us to have true trust in Him, or to renew this trust.
In this regard solitude helps, a quiet walk and conversation with Him. It may take some time for this trust to be renewed. But if we keep on moaning and complaining without end, even blaming others … how is the Lord supposed to speak to us? How is He supposed to comfort and encourage us if we refuse to lift our eyes up to Him?  Therefore my heart, gather yourself!  Weep at His feet, tell Him your sorrows and then listen to Him.  He will embrace you, comfort you, affirm His love and faithfulness and fill you with renewed hope and strength.  Yes, He is generous and merciful with His children!  Blessed is he who has complete faith in Him!
Perhaps you have had to endure great losses.  But there also the Lord will give renewed hope and strength.  Because He remains the Lord.  He will more than even out the losses if we trust in Him.
Forgive and do not complain,
Look unto the Lord and your heart will be happy!
The mighty Lord, Who has created heaven and earth out of nothing, looks after His children.  It is never too hard for Him to help.  It is a pleasure for Him to take care of His children, whom He loves so much!  Let us trust Him more and more each day!
Thank You, Father in Heaven, for having the final say.  It is never too hard for You to help me.  You have always done it!  Now I want to soothe my heart in Your presence and find renewed hope, strength and joy.  Thank You Father, for loving me!!
