All the interventions by God, all his miracles, are listed here. And in the end it is stated that, He brought out his people with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy.The suffering of the enslaved Israelite’s was overwhelming. The slave driver even wanted to kill all of the male children. Finally the people cried out to the Lord and he saw down from heaven and he took pity. He send Moses how led them into freedom. The Lord himself gave his people cover in a cloud and he went ahead of them in a column of fire so there could be light in the darkness. He brought his people safely into the promised land. It took 40 years but they arrived in the end. God trained his people, he eradicated all disbelieve and wailing and he filled them with courage, confidence, and faith. He was their God, within their reach. They where His people, who he surrounded like a firewall. We will not live suppressed and in fear for ever. God will save us! He has already send the Savior: Jesus Christ, who already redeemed us. Jesus will go ahead and he will be the rearguard when he leads his people to the promised land. We will not succumb to tears, distress, pain, and suffering but we will be saved. Jesus is the light – he surrounds his people with a could of glory which illuminates the darkness. All his children will dance and rejoice, sing and dance when he redeems his people. He, the Savior, is here! And then, all suffering will be forgotten. Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. (Psalm 105:1-4)Jesus, at your side we are saved and joy is where you are. You are the great Savior, who will liberate his people all over the world. We pray for our brothers and sisters who are persecuted and mistreated. Stand with them and lead them out of their misery.
