He redeems my life from ruin – 2017.02.09
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits! …,
who redeems your life from the pit …
Psalm 103, 2.4
Today we read this psalm and the verse caught my eyes: He redeems my life from ruin. Yes that is true! He has saved me more than once before the downfall!
My biggest enemy is the evil, the liars, murderers and swindlers, the accuser of the brethren, that old serpent.
My ancestors have driven many evil things – spiritualism, occultism in any form, Satan worship, witchcraft and many other things that is an abomination tot he Lord. Satan had the right to torment the descendants, including me. And so I toiled around with suicidal thoughts. Some times it was very concrete and I was going to take my life. But each time came the voice of God in my head, so that He saved me. Murder, death and destruction are the hallmarks of evil. Of this I have enough, never again will I return to this sphere.
He has redeemed my life from ruin! Yes that is true! He is the Redeemer! If we keep firmly to him, the evil, this murderer, has no chance. Jesus is stronger.
He has redeemed my life in a different way. There were a few times dangerous situations. But God had already made provision for so there was no fatal accident. Once God’s voice sounded in my head, as I quickly drove the car through a forest. The voice was so loud that I forgot to depress the accelerator pedal. It said ; there could be a deer standing on the road. And so it was: I drove around the curve, and at the end stood the deer on the road. How good that I now drove slowly!
I’ll tell you this so that we remember how anxious God is for our lives. It is fixed for Him, not a matter of indifferent! He will never blame and say ; their own fault. No, He does not want harm to come to, but constantly good.
He still wants to redeem our lives. He does not want, that we have lived in vain. Our life will not be meaningless and end in ruin; – Without any memory of us. It should make sense for all eternity. Whoever indulges in only his hobby and television looks, walks past the real life. The abyss awaits him; – Such a life is spoiled. Whoever clings to Jesus, acquires meaning in life. The Lord will take him and make him important, valuable and meaningful. His life will bear fruit until eternity. Do not destroy your life, but go over to Jesus. Give Him your life completely in the hand, cling to Him, and He will bring your life to flourish, even if it is so far only been “scrap”. He is the Lord who creates life.
Thank you, Jesus, You’re a good Lord! You saved and redeemed my life from ruin. Now I cling to you so that you are doing something meaningful with my life.
