He will complete it – 2016.05.27
With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.
2 Thessalonians 1:11
God promises to complete the work of faith that He started within us. Sometimes we feel like a candle in the wind – nearly gone out. But God will lift us up so the flame of faith will burn bright again!
Sometimes we feel like the good work we do for the Lord doesn’t bear fruit. Everything gets ruined or fizzles out. But God himself keeps an eye out on our accomplishments: He doesn’t forget them and will use them in the way He had planed all along.
Nothing that is done for the Lord Jesus Christ is done in vain! As well as our investments in our children. He will complete it.
He prepares us for our calling. He will work on us if we are not the way Jesus needs us to be. He brings us up to do good work and will certainly complete His work with us.
From time to time we act up against Gods will. But He is a patient father who brings His children on the right way using love, patience, and mercy. He is patient until we trust Him fully.
Most of the work God does Himself, what is there for us to do?
We have to keep in touch with Him. We need to read the scripture so we know in what we believe. We need the living Word of God for current situations. We need silent prayer and His company. We need to be in a permanent conversation with Him the whole day long. We need to be obedient to God. We have to put ourselves last and worship Jesus.
Thank You Jesus, for You will complete Your work with me! You won’t let the small flame of hope and faith be blown out. You will help in just the right moment. You will get Your child to the finish line, just the way You promised. Thank You for I can trust in You!
