And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
1. John 3:23-24

Luckily the old law is fulfilled! How should’ve we observed all 1236 laws with their multiple paragraphs each? One can hardly memorize all of them! Some of the laws will be broken even if one tries to uphold them. And while trying one focuses only on the letter of the law and not on the deeper meaning. When someone tries to keep laws believe doesn’t matter. That’s the reason God was arguing with the old Israel a lot.
Since Christ it’s much easier: the law was written into our hearts by the Holy Ghost. It’s absolutely clear to us, that we shall not kill, that we need to honor our parents, that the marriage is holy, that we can’t take what isn’t ours, and that we shouldn’t tell lies. Furthermore, the Holy Ghost shows us what separates us from the Lord: pride, envy, greed, egoism, fear, and much more. Let us be led and taught by the Holy Ghost, when we listen to his voice we will keep the law. And when we make a mistake and break the law Jesus will forgive us. It’s not the end of the world. He knows we love Him.
We need to believe in Jesus Christ. That means we openly support His side. We belong to the camp of Christ and not to those of the world, the sin, or the enemy. That is past. We are redeemed and we put our trust only in Christ like we promised at our baptism. We don’t believe like those that know everything about Jesus and believe everything that was ever written about Him. Believing in Him means to trust in Him on a daily bases. Everything that harms us will be taken care of by Jesus, be it sorrows, sin, sickness, loneliness, or depression we can leave it to the Lord. When Worries overcome us we trust in Him because our heart will be calmed with Him. Our Lord is an awesome God!
He gives us the Holy Ghost that is living in us. Because of this we are one with the Lord. The Holy Ghost is working within us. He shows us where there is still sin and is clearing our thoughts and heart. He refreshes our faith and gives us joy and peace. He makes us able to forgive and to love. Actually He does everything we should do. As long as the Holy Ghost is in us we know we are connected to the Lord.

Thank You Jesus, You are with me! You don’t condemn me for every small misstep I take – not even for the large ones. You love me and You forgive me. Truly, I believe in You and I love You! I want to keep Your laws of love – give me more of Your Holy Ghost so I can do it!
