His grace

His grace

But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.”
2 Corinthians 12, 9

When I was young, I wanted to know how big my strength and abilities are. I tried many things to discover my limits. I was amazed to find out what is possible! But I was also very proud of my skills and looked down on the weaker ones. But God took me down to earth again and robbed me everything, I was proud of. Those were hard times! The only good thing was that He was very close to me in these hard times and was growing in me more and more. He comforted and motivated me, encouraged me and never gave up hope in me. Today I am glad that my beloved Lord sent me through this school. Although I have not done much earth-shattering, He has done many, many great things in my life! I once asked him why He does miracles and heals people. He said, “Because of my love and because of my mercy.” I considered for a long time until I understood: It doesn’t depend on the words in which I pray, but on my heart. Do I trust in my “persuasion” or do I rely on His grace? And always, when I pray for people I recognize God’s great love, which comes into effect through prayer. Yes, how can I work miracles? It doesn’t work. But the overwhelming grace of Jesus can do it! More and more I realize my limitations and weakness and at the same time more and more His grace, mercy and love. Then it’s easy to pray for others! It doesn’t matter to me, it just depends on my wonderful Lord, who likes to do great things!

Thank You, Jesus, that You are there! You like it to help, stand by me, give me comfort, and You encourage me! Yes, I depend on You, cause You are the source of my life!
