I will praise the Lord who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
I have set the Lord always before me.
Because He is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices,
my body also will rest secure.

So many blessings! And what I have to do to receive them?  The only thing is, you have to believe, to praise, to set Him always before you. Unfortunately my thoughts are going back and forth; it is not easy for me to concentrate on Him. I am often grumbling: How many injustices, so many things are not correct, so often little understanding…! It is then difficult for me to praise God in my negative thinking.
However, I will train it to overcome these obstacles in my thinking and feelings. I will forgive and be patient for it is God who judges and who cares for me. I want to direct my eyes to the beauty, to His creation, to His miracles, and to His love for me. I want to thank Him that He guided me safely until now where yet others, especially the enemy, wanted to hurt me hard. No, He is the Lord also over my life.
So happiness is there again, the grumbling disappears. Joy has so many positive effects! To enjoy life makes us powerful. It strengthens our health and the problems are only half as large. Thank You, Jesus, for Your Spirit of Joy!
Thank You that I can forgive my adversaries and can even love them. How liberating is that! So I am able to think positive and need not to bother with the past.
If I have Him always before me I will not be shaken, am free of fear and not afraid to start new things. He is at my side!
Even when I make mistakes He is there. He is at my right hand, leads me and repairs damages. I may be free of having steadily fear to do something wrong. If I only praise Him and keep my eyes on Him. Well, if I benefit a lot of it I will practise it much more intensively. Lord, help!

Thank You, Lord! You make me glad when I turn to You. You forgive when I ask for forgiveness. You help if I trust in You as my Helper. You are always there, merciful, generous, helpful, comforting, gentle, patient… You are really a wonderful God!
