Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8

I have to admit that I’m a sinner and a loser if this is Gods benchmark for my life. My love isn’t so strong, especially not if I deal with someone difficult. But I start hoping when God is a good example to me. He loves me just like it is written in the above verse. And Jesus loves us humans just the same way. If Jesus loves me so much he will not hesitate to forgive my sins. Only love makes that possible!
Truly, He forgives me again and again. Every morning He says to me those words of love: "My love is patient, my love is kind. My love is not easily angered, my love doesn’t keep a record of wrongs. My love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. My love never fails."
We are well off with Jesus! He never accuses us. He has forgotten my failings and He is proud of me. He likes my company. He doesn’t look on what is missing but on the good and He encourages me to continue. Not everyone has a Lord like that!
My Lord cares for me. He surrounds me and provides for me. I’m not lazy but I can’t do everything. I can’t make the sun shine, the rain fall, or much more. But He can. Sometimes He warns me about dangers and I can avoid those. Sometimes He takes away some illness or some suffering. Sometimes He comforts me. Sometimes He gives me small or large presents. It’s great with Him! How much time have I spent on something that I have lost. Now He helps me find it. I ask Him: "Where is it?" and He shows it to me almost always immediately. And if not, unnecessary searching doesn’t help much. Now I am surrounded by His love and His security. He is with me in good and bad days, walks with me, or even carries me on His arms. Jesus, my Lord, is great to me! He is true love in person! I should by in the light of His love more often, and give His love more room in my life, instead of trying on my own. He is there and He likes to help!
Thank You Jesus, for Your great love! You truly are love in Person. With You there is no judgment or damnation for me. You forgive, cleans, and restart my life with You. Your love surrounds my life!
