Light out of darkness — 2016.01.31
For God, who said: ”Let light shine out of darkness, His light shines in our heart!"
2. Corinthians 4:6
Our human heart is like a den of thieves, – sometimes. Terrible vindictiveness can spread therein, or incomprehensible greed for anything. Or unlimited envy, excessive wishes, sexual perversions, merciless brutality, strong aggressiveness, lies, ruthless judging, condemning, and other terrible things can break through. All that in us can terrify ourselves. What an unpredictable heart, how horrific! It is able to do any wickedness!
There is only one deliverance: Jesus! He has to be the Light in our heart which banishes the darkness. The more light of Him the less shadow and darkness. Everything should come to light! In this respect we may be totally strict with ourselves. No compromises with the darkness, not at all!
No human wisdom saves, only the Spirit of God and the acceptance of Jesus. If we maintain communion with Him, read the Bible, pray, and meditate about Him, then the Spirit of God works in you. He changes us into the image of God as He intended to do at time of creation. The more intensive our communion is with Him, the more our heart and our life is reflecting His character. It is not a matter of time but of quality how I have intensive communion with Him. I can talk to Him even when I wash the dish, or mow the lawn.
Holy Spirit, make my heart bright and pure! There the Face of the Lord should shine and expel all darkness. I wish to be in the image of Jesus with Your help.
Thank You, Jesus, that You saved me out of my darkness and loneliness. You made my heart bright. How wonderful that You are dwelling in it. Yes, be my Lord and King!
