Jesus says:
"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.
Whoever believes in me as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within Him."
John 7: 37
Jesus compares the Holy Spirit with a mighty stream of living water. The Spirit of God likes to quench our thirst, to fullfill our hope and desire. He wants to satisfy us, meet our wishes more than enough. Only He is able to do that.
He wants to be in us like a fountain. The water cleanses us from all dirt and filth. It flows from within us to our neighbourhood that new life can arise. He is the Spirit who creates life!
The Spirit is the most powerful force in the universe. When He blows over the earth there will be great changes and restoration will take place. The old will be simply washed away. But watch out! He does not stick to our standards and rules. If you say yes to Him you will be a giver of life yourselve as a channel through which the Spirit is flowing. The living water will not come if you deny the spirit.
The power of the Spirit wants to cover our entire country. It`s only our unbelieve which stops Him. If we start to invite Him with passion, offer our readiness to serve Him, if we wholeheartedly are longing for Him, He surely will begin to operate. A lot of christians and churches are like skeletons as described in Ezekiel 37. The Spirit wants to revive them. However do they cry for Him?
Jesus, I wish to have this fountain of living water in me! I need You and the living which you like to give. Fill me with the joy of Spirit and its power! Let me be a source of living water for other people. Yes, I belong to you. Do with me what you want!
