My money – 2015.02.15

Bring the whole tith into the storehouse,
that there may be food in my house.
"Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty,
"and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven
and pour out so much blessing
that you will not have room enough for it.

Malachi 3:10

Does God really need my money? No, for it belongs all to Him. He is not depending on my money. He does not expect to receive my money only my nobleness. He also is not willing that I morosely donate my hard-earned money. That is principally the wrong attitude of giving, this moroseness. The reason for that is my thinking that I have earned the money with great effort, therefore it belongs to me and it is my right to dispose of it freely. Thats nothing but egoism and being proud of own performance. Just at that point God is intervening. He wish to make me dependant on Him. He wants to be master over all in me. He likes to be my provider. And if I totally lean on Him as my Provider He certainly will withhold nothing. We do not want to build up rules how many you have to give, instead we will come more and more into His dependance. I will give my salary and work to Him to be only His manager of His estate. I simply wish to thank Him for the opportunity to earn money and will look around where I can help in His place. I carefully will check where my donations are best used. I will spend my money as it pleases God. I will not forget that He saved me from many repairs and from holes in the purse. I will thank Him with a joyfull heart for He has took care of me so faithfully.
<em>Thank you, Father, You are my Provider. I entrust You all what I have and totally put myself in your care. Please show me where I can build up Your Kingdom with my gifts and how I can help the neighbour unselfishly as Jesus did it. Bring my finances in order so that I owe no money as a King
s child should not live in debt. My Lord, I trust you with all my heart.
