Nothing is impossible — 2016.02.01

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26

This verse is perfect for the lazy! They sit on the couch and wait for God to do something instead of doing it themselves. It is an excuse for us doing nothing.
But God does have some principles: if we do nothing he doesn’t do anything as well. Only when we start with something God join in.
The paralytic at the Pool of Bethesda would still be there if he didn’t do what Jesus told him: Stand up, take you bedding and walk! He did it and he was healed.
When we sit around God can’t lead us. That’s why the Bible tells us again and again to stand up and do something!
God can’t do anything if we do nothing. Only when we act He can bless, correct, lead our actions and give us strength or do miracles.
In Mark, in the Great Commission, is written, that, after the apostles preached, God confirmed their preaching with signs and miracles. Wouldn’t they have preached, there would have been not miracles.
Only after we tell people the gospel He can change their heart. We do what we are able to and Jesus does what we can’t: He can change someones heart.
Therefore we should start to do something for our beloved Lord. We trust in Him to lead our ways and to bless our actions. What is impossible to us we should leave to Him. We do as if everything depends on us, and we pray as if everything depends on Him.
Sometimes the Lord tells us: await God! – And we wait active for God to intervene. This waiting in a bad situation can be our deal with God. We act only when He says to do so. Acting at any cost is sometimes rushed and creates chaos.
Thank You Jesus, You are with me! Even when I am unsure and don’t know the way You are with me and You lead the way. Even when I make mistakes You are with me. Give me confidence to walk Your way.
