The man born blind – 2015.07.29

Go, he told the man born blind, wash in the Pool of Siloam – this word means the messenger. So the man went and washed. And when he returned he could see.
John 9:7

As Jesus went along He saw a man who was blind from birth. His desciples asked him: Who sinned, he or his parents? Jesus replied: Neither this man nor his parents sinned. This happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. And He spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man`s eyes.
From birth we are blind to the reality of God. We actually do not know nothing about Him and His kingdom. We need Jesus who opens our eyes! We have to go to the Pool Siloam as well and wash our eyes.Siloam means " Messenger" that is Jesus. He is the Light of the world. For the blind man it was normal not to see anything, the sun, the sky, or all the birds. He really could not see nothing of the beauty on this earth although he strongly wished so. And how many times he probably had asked himself why he had to bear this fate of being blind. However, Jesus forgets the sin. He accepts every one who comes to Him and heals. He wants to open our eyes for the truth of God. He can do that! He wants to show us the goodness, the mercy, the patience, and the love of our Lord. He wants to free us from all bondages, from torturing guilts. He releases us from desolation and hopelessness. He brings us the sun of live and leads us to the fountain. He makes our hearts happy again, so that we can sing. He is a wonderful Lord!

Thank you, Jesus, that You came to redeem the sinners. You are the Light of the world and wish to make my life bright too. Wash and purify my heart and enter into same with Your Light, your Joy and Love. I need You so much!
