Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,
His love endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story,
those HE redeemed from the foe.
Psalm 107,1f.
…. some sat in darkness,
prisoners suffering in iron chains,
because they rebelled against God’s commands
and despised the plans of the Most High,
So HE subjected them to bitter labour;
they stumbled, and there was no one to help.
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble,
and HE saved them from their distress,
HE brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness
and broke away their chains.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for His unfailing love,
and His wonderful deeds for mankind,
for He breaks down the gates of bronze
and cuts through bars of iron.
(Verse 10 – 16)
The Bible does not give us a complete insight into the realm of darkness. It only says that there is God and Jesus and the devil and his demons, his spirits. And it says: Jesus is the victor, HE wants to tear all men out of the darkness.
If someone has practiced sorcery, spiritualism, magic, satanic worship and the like, the enemy has the right to torture the descendants up to the 4th generation. We don’t know much about our great-grandparents, usually not even their names, let alone whether they have done such things. But the Spirit of God can reveal everything. In silent prayer we can find out whether such guilt exists. And then we can ask forgiveness for these sins. Then the enemy has lost his right and must give way in the name of Jesus. There is no need to scream and shout; we only must speak in the authority of Jesus. This path is much more enjoyable for me than an hour-long power struggle with any spirits. Areas in the name of Jesus are good, but it seems to me that it is better to solve the question of guilt.
The sins must be called by name. In my experience, it is never enough to ask for forgiveness in general.
Have we heard correctly, and if we are full of heavenly authority, the results are quite amazing. Real liberation, change, new life. Yes, Jesus is victorious over all powers! – and we may be His servants.
Thank Jesus for being the victor! You have freed me from all sinister thoughts and feelings. You made me new, You gave me hope and purpose. You are amazing!!
Example: A young man, who loved Jesus very much, came and explained his problem: He likes worship songs. But in communion with others, he becomes aggressive and evil in worship. He had not yet finished telling us, and the answer came from the LORD: Some ancestors had praised Satan, and now these powers do not like Jesus to be praised.  We prayed for forgiveness of the sin of the satanic cult. The man called a few days later and said: Everything is all right now, I can praise and worship Jesus!
Another man was always instantly aggressive, as if someone were trying to kill him. We prayed for him, and I noticed that his problems stem from the fact that his mother had cursed him, probably already in the womb. And the father never cared, his father was completely indifferent to him. We broke this curse and the man began to live anew, his aggressiveness disappeared.
It’s easier to pray in the team! Everyone has his gifts.
