Hear the word of the Lord, you Israelites: … My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Hosea 4:1

Not knowing Gods word or will brought a lot of suffering on the Israelites. And they didn’t know Jesus who is the source of all wisdom and insights. Only small fragments, like unsorted pieces of a puzzle, were known to them. Because of this, many were lack strength, joy and security. Gods word does give us advice and answer in many things of daily matter. We don’t have to follow the main stream. God is supposed to be our adjuster – the one that readjusts our life.
Our teachers and preachers have read a lot of books and try to outdo one another with wisdom. But unfortunately it’s more often than not their own wisdom.
People like to listen to good speakers. But the people don’t know the bible that well and can be mislead easily. This will be exploited by the enemy! The bible is a big book with a lot of letters. Someone who is just reading it will not understand. The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life! We need Him to understand the bible! And we need Him to preach truth with authority.
Gods wish: read the His word the bible. During which you should be connected to Him and pray. Ask Him to show you what’s important at the moment and what He wants to tell you. The bible will become a living book that influences us, through this kind of reading will.
Always try to get to know Jesus more. Through prayer and through reading the bible. All treasures of wisdom and insight are in Him; He knows everything. He wants to live in our heart and share his wisdom with us. We will grow through this dependence on Jesus and His Word. We will become wise, independent and empowered teachers ourselves.
Thank You Jesus, for You know the answer to everything! I can turn to You, because You understand everything, even me. You accept me and take me serious. I have so many questions! Good, I can read about You in the the bible. Good, the Spirit send by You will interpret Your word. You thought about everything. Wonderful is Your word, which is my light and hope for dark days. Thank You Jesus, for You are here.
