… and you return to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons,then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.
Deuteronomy 30, 2-3
Every day the eyes of the Lord search the earth to find those that stand true to Him. He searches everywhere to hear the screams and shouts of those who call out to him. Every day He searches our hearts, to see if it is faithful to Him and if we have needs. He is the Lord, who looks out for His children.
It doesn‘t matter whether we live behind the wood or in a cave in the mountains or in a prison cell: He finds us and hears our prayer and He searches our heart. It doesn‘t matter in which problem we find ourselves: He knows the rescue.
He wants to change our fate and give us mercy, He wants to turn us round and bring us back again together. There are many who have forsaken God and gone their own way. But their way leads them astray and into many problems. Now God waits to see if we search him with all our Herat and strength. He is our redeemer and our liberator. He wants to pour mercy over us if we put all of our hope in Him. He wants to take us out of every misery and bring us back to His people and make us his children.
Thank you Father in Heaven that you have never forgotten me. Even when I am not faithful, you remain faithful. You wait for me to call on you and search you with my whole heart. Then you want me to turn back towards me and show mercy to me. Thank you that you are faithful God.
