Evil Tongues — 2016.03.21

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays.
Maleachi 4, 2

We always seem to hurt each other, most of the time using words. Sometime one evil word can change a child for life.
Often those evil words hurt us so deep because there is a bit of truth in them and the person uttering them is someone close to us. Someone we love can hurt us much easily than a stranger. Because of the small part that is true there is no easy defense against those evil words. And so we need healing!
Healing isn’t the only thing Jesus wants to give us, but justice as well. He wants to redeem us for our failures that are the truth within those words, so we can’t be hurt again.
When King David sinned a man of God, Nathan, came and proved him guilty. David accepted his guild and stopped to play it down, he did penance and returned to the Lord. The Lord forgave him and told him: You are a man from my heart. Now, when someone attacked David he could reply that he had indeed sinned but God had forgiven him.
It seems that confessing ones guilt and forgiveness is necessary for the healing. Only than Jesus can pronounce us just because our sins are gone.
Finally Jesus can take us in His arm, take our pain away, and heal our heart from those evil words. And we become able to forgive those that hurt us, because if we don’t forgive those that wronged us, the whole thing isn’t over and we become bitter.
Jesus is the sun of justice that brings healing. We want to go to Him, so we can get forgiveness and healing.
Thank You Jesus, with You I find justice and healing! You are great and I like to stay close to You. With You I am save and no evil word can hurt me, because You accept me!
