HE is making everything new
HE who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then He said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
Oh my, in those short word lies so much hope! Everything will be made new! And the one who says so has the power to do so! More often than not, we can’t even change ourselves, even if we really want it. But the Lord can do that! And He wants it! He confirms His will with saying: "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." He tells us this, since our faith is sometimes pretty small.
Sometimes people despair over themself. They want to do something but aren’t able to. Some want to get out of depression, some don’t want to think certain thoughts, some are quick-tempered and always angry, and sometimes they lose control over themself… Jesus is searching for those people because He wants to make them new. He wants to relive them of all their burdens and they will find acceptance, love, forgiveness, community, and peace with Him.
He is looking for the losers. When people say about someone, that this person is a hopeless case, Jesus, sitting on the throne says:" Don’t worry, I make everything new! Come, we can do it together!"
He is looking for people He can make new. He will make new everything that we give to Him.
He is sitting on the throne. He is ruling over everything. Not just the vast emptiness of space, but all throughout the smallest atoms. He wants to put His throne in our hearts and rule us as well. He makes everything new – do we let Him?
Yes Jesus, You can! I beg You to put Your throne in my heart! You are supposed to be the King I’m listening to and whom I belong to. You will make everything new! Truly, You have the power to do so!
