The Lord watches over the human breath,
He searches all the innermost parts.
Proverbs 20: 27
He is our creator, who is watching over us. Every small cell, every hair and every wrinkle He has devised and created as he wanted it. He is pleased with His children!
Because He loves them so much, his spirit pervades everything, even his children. He sees whether everything is in order. Without the Spirit, no one could live a single second. The medical sciences have researched people well. Nevertheless, they can only describe how something occurs, but the why-question they do not answer.
Because God is creator and His spirit is watching over us, it can prevent "disorder" and many diseases in us; – If we expose ourselves to him like flowers in the sun. What do I know how much suffering and disease He has already prevented in me?
One study concludes that people, who pray, are healthier and more resistant. Another study found that people following heart surgery have a lot less complications when you pray intensely. Yes, the Spirit of God works!
If we stay away from God, His order-force can hardly work in us. We are exposed, all alone. If we open ourselves to Him, He searched through us, all compartments of our body, and watches over our breath.
The sin can destroy our lives and our health. Life in the constant forgiveness of Jesus sustains us.
And if we get sick as Christians? Then we examine our lifestyle, whether it is against the word of God. And we check if we are closely connected to Jesus, or whether sin has crept that we do not want to give up. And we ask the brothers and sisters, to pray for us. And above all, we place ourselves and our destiny in the strong, loving hands of Jesus. We ask Him for healing, but we can also accept, if he even allows disease.
Of course, we strive for a healthy lifestyle, as the Bible and our understanding tells us. And of course, we go to the dentist or the doctor and use the findings of medicine. But we know that the last word belongs to our Lord!
Thank You, Jesus, that You are so concerned about me! You take care of the smallest things in me and I entrust myself to You. I want to do my part, that I am healthy and a good, beautiful temple of Your spirit. I want to pay attention to me, because I am worth much to You. Thank You that You live in me! Please, by researching all the chambers of my body, strengthen me and put everything in order, which is in disarray.
