Some people care so much for others that they forget themselves, they always join the end of the queue and then never come to turn.
Others may not like themselves and therefore rarely do themselves a good thing. They punish themselves because they think God would do it too.
And still others put their own self in the center of their thoughts and actions and only allow to be governed by their personal own feelings. They constantly do themselves good, but they can’t really be glad about it in their heart. They are feeling really bad, because always something misses to their happiness.
God wants us to have a healthy attitude to ourselves. When we see ourselves and love ourselves like God sees us and loves us, then it’s right! We are precious to Him. He personally has made us. He has good ideas and purposes for us. He is eager to forgive. He delights in us. He only wants the best for us!
Thank you, Father, You love me! I keep seeing my mistakes and my failure and always something must be done necessarily. But You want to bring my heart to rest. I am very valuable to You. You want me to deal well with myself and to see myself the way You see me: As Your beloved child. Help me!
