The key to divine fullness – 2019.08.05

A certain ruler asked him:
Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?
Luke 18, 18

Jesus asks the man, Have you kept all the commandments? – Yes, he replies, from a young age.  What am I missing now? – Jesus said to him, One thing is missing from you: sell everything you have. Then come and follow me! – The man became very sad when he heard this, because he was very rich. Jesus looked at him: How difficult it is for people who possess much to enter the kingdom of God! A camel is more likely to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. – The people who heard this were very surprised. Who then can be saved? Jesus said: What is impossible for man is possible for God. And Peter immediately thought further and asked: Lord, we have left our property and followed you …. we have left everything. – And Jesus says to him: Amen, I say to you: Everyone who has left house or wife, brothers, parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will receive many times more in this time and eternal life in the world to come.
Interesting matter! The man asks, what must I do? And Jesus answers him: Nothing at all. You don’t have to do anything, you have to leave something, leave it! You don’t have to slide on your knees to Rome, you don’t have to buy God’s benevolence through good works, you just have to leave what stands between God and you! – With the rich man it was wealth, with others it is hobby or career or sport or paralyzing unbelief. All sorts of good and bad can come between you and God. The best work for the Lord can separate you from God! So, always look for the Lord first, grant him 10 minutes in the morning, let him be Lord, don’t compromise because of a few dollars, no half-truths, live straight! Seek this heart-to-heart relationship with Jesus! That alone is the way to divine fullness in you: joy, peace, love, hope, forgiveness! Yes, HE is our peace, and not wealth, not even a nice person …. just Jesus alone.

Thank You Jesus, You are my way to God, my key to heaven, my life, my hope! Yes Lord, I love You and like being with You! And if anything becomes more important to me than You, please warn me in time! I do not want to gamble away Your grace. You are so good to me, thank You!
