Without complaining and arguing! – 2015.06.07
Do everything without complaining or arguing so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.
Philippians 2:14f
God knows our situation very well: The present time is crooked and depraved and the people therein too. There are many who even like it to live in transgression until they wake up and look at all that with disgust. Then they start to hate their own sins and urgently need the help of children of God with certitude who are shining like lighthouses the light of Jesus in this dark world. Where else you will find hope than in Jesus!
Jesus is our Lord who wants to strengthen us. He wants us to be joyful, free, untroubled, full of hope, and grateful so that we will become lighthouses for those who have lost hope, and are like rocks in the breakers where everyone can stand safely in the name of Jesus.
During the train through the desert the Israelites often were complaining and arguing. Although God did great things the people were ungrateful. They always wanted things which were not available and argued when God asked them to do something. There was no response to Gods deeds, miracles, and care. The Israelites did nothing but complain, argue, grumble, and worry. We should not act like that.
s love and mercy through words and deeds. Then He will be with us!
We want to serve God without complaining and arguing. We should not forget His miracles and and should not respond with "perhaps" and doubts. We should not consider His miracles simply as a fluke. Instead, we should be grateful and faithful. Without hesitation we should be obedient when He gives us orders. It will not always be easy but He is our Helper and Saviour. Let us be strong like lighthouses and witness God
Thank you, Jesus, You enable us to be Your lighthouses! You know that without You we are weak. However You are near us, purify us from all sins and uncleanness so that Your light shines much brighter in us. You are the hope for people in depravity and confusion. As you had mercy with us let us be a hope for others.
