The one who is high and lifted up,
who lives forever, whose name is holy, says:
I live on high, in holiness,
and also with the crushed and the lowly,

Hallelujah, God has mercy! Especially those who are totally devastated, He wants to help! This is a word of God at the right time.
Discouragement, hopelessness, loneliness and depression are spreading. This can have many different causes. There are many physical disorders that cause depression (suppurating teeth, thyroid, lack of light in the fall …). There are many situations that make us depressed: loneliness, sin, divorce, illness, unemployment, failure …. And there are spiritual practices that push us to the ground: Keeping hold of sin, not taking God’s word seriously, constant complaints before God, not putting His will into action, childlike demanding from God, confrontations with spiritual powers …. There are just too many reasons to sho interest in all. But God knows the cause! He wants to discover them and heal us! My heart, you can breathe
again, God is ready to intervene to help! He has given His word.
He wants us to take His hand so that he can lead us into the light in small steps. He has a lot of hope for us. Please, never say: I can not! – With Him all things are possible. He is gentle and never overstrains us.
I think of the man who got robbed. Another traveler found him, washed his wounds and bandaged them. Then he laid him on his donkey and brought him to an inn. There he deposited money so that the injured could be healed. So gently Jesus treats us. Step by step it goes to light, to healing! He will heal our hearts and revive us!

Thank you, Jesus, with You there is a lot of hope! You send forth Your spirit, to heal hurt and battered hearts and revive them. I will not lie there on the ground! Come on, give me strength and hope, because I cling to You!
