I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.
Romans 1:16
The gospel is a great power of God! It saves everyone. Paulus precisely knows that, for he once was an enemy of God, persecuted Christians, threw them into prisons, or let them be stoned as done with Stephanus. Paulus knows indeed how great the power of the gospel is. After the overwhelming encounter with the Son of God he could do nothing but believing in his Lord Jesus. This faith gave him power to start spreading the gospel worldwide: The righteous through faith will live! Everyone who believes will be saved! Regardless how deeply you are separated from God, no matter what has happened yesterday: When you believe, God will save you!
Jesus had said to the centurion: " Go, it will be done just as you believed it would." Our faith determines our life, our thinking, acting, and feeling. If I expect bad things, have terrible thoughts when I get up early in the morning, most probably the day will bring much hardship. If I always talk to me that everybody is against me, then most likely it will occur: They all are against me!
If I believe in horoscopes and dreams, mostly negativ stuff, they may be fullfilled somehow. If, however, I expect only good things from the Father good will happen to me. If I strongly rely on Jesus, He will not let me alone. If I wait for Him, He will make me well. Yes, it will be done just as I believed. Faith is a divine power: Faith is the source of my doing and God will act in view of my confidence in Him. Yes, I will trust in the power, love, and mercy of God. I wish to see how God is saving to honour and praise Him, my Lord.

Thank you, Father, for my salvation and that you always will save me out of coming troubles. I w i l l trust you and always will be sure that You are present and controls every situation. Please forgive me! Often my faith is weak. Please increase my faith, my trust in You! Today I will expect great things from You!
