Fallen asleep – 2016.10.13

I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
Revelation 3: 1

Jesus presents a hard diagnosis there! But He alone sees through us and He alone knows what it really is to us. Other we can cheat and as an actor mime a good Christians, but Jesus did not.
Sometimes we are slowly taken away from the living faith through the deceitfulness of sin. Jesus is still far away, our prayers appear no longer to reach Him. His peace does not reign in our hearts. Somehow we are living dead.
Sometimes our faith will be disappointed. We have expected that God will do this or that, but He did not. Then we turn from him, the source of life. We are self-pitying or offended and it pulls us back.
Sometimes we are just tired. Our prayer times are getting shorter and shorter, the gratitude is becoming less and we see the Bible only from the outside. We know it is time to get up, but it lacks the power.
A few days ago I sat at the computer and there was a message: Only 5% juice in the battery! I quickly checked the power line and found a cable was not plugged in correctly. Now, Fixed and recharging a battery and the Computer can continue working.
Similarly, we should do it. There is no point to remain seated. We need to check our connection to Jesus and insert again the "cable" of prayer and trust. The error must be eliminated. And then the power of God flows again and we can strengthen what is left of our faith and to awaken that which was already dying. Jesus has not abandoned us, He stands ready to meet us again. Wake Up!!
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40: 28-31
Yes, Jesus, I come! I bring my failure and open myself new to you. Please strengthen, what is left, make alive again what was already dying! Jesus, I will not let you go again until your strength and joy have re satisfied me! Thank you for your word, you will keep your promise.
