Why do the nations conspire
and the people plot in vain?
The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
Psalm 2: 1+4
Jesus provokes many people to contradiction. Light and darkness are in battle. Religious people could be prejudiced and start to be against the living Lord, even hate Him. It hits the followers of Jesus.
We have to comprehend, that this denial is not a personal attack against us, but against Jesus, who lives in us. The enemy stimulates the people to accuse us with all sorts of bad things, he wants to destroy us. Only people in the light realize these attacks, lies and intrigues. The enemy is mad about us because Jesus, the Light of this world, shines in us. In fact the attacks are a compliment for us, a prove of our strong faith. We cannot explain that as people are blind to this truth.
Whole nations are opposing the Lord and His rules. Why the EU wants to introduce by force the perverse Gender sex laws and to impose them even other people outside the EU? Basically these are merely man made ideal theories. They do not accept the rules and the freedom of God. They want to justify their own lifestyle. However, God laugh and scoffs at them.
Other countries want to extend their dominion through civil war, invasions, bombs, and violence. They do not want the kingdom which God offers them. They themselves want to dominate the world. The Lord, however, is Lord, not any dictator.
Why God laughs at them? Because He knows: they are just dust! May they rage, hate, make war with each other. God always will find a way to protect His people.
Through Jesus He gave us the strength to endure persecution and hate for His sake. This honors us. We act like Jesus did: We pray for our enemies and bless them. We even pray that they will accept Jesus. We want to forgive them as they do not know what they are doing.
And above all: We, ourselves, want to trust God that He is in total control. We decline every compromise with other people. We do not want to be dependant on their opinions. We want to bind ourselves exclusively to God, to be without fear, standing upright.
So we say with confidence: The Lord is my Helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? ( Hebrew13:6)
Thank You, Father in Heaven, You are in control, have all the threads in Your hand. May the enemies hate, scoff, and rage. You are always the Winner in me! How wonderful that I am safe in your Hand!
