Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,

When God called me, he already knew all the days of my life. He knew even then the good and the bad days. And He said: Yes, I want him. He shall be my child and I will be his father.
He had only good thoughts and plans for me; – He saw a great future for me! In love He enveloped me, took me by the hand and walked with me through life.
But sometimes I was stubborn and rebellious. I wanted to go my own way! He had a lot of patience with me and let me go. He was waiting for me when I want to return to Him. Mostly it was not long until I realized that my path was a dead end, bad for me and mine. How good that he always helped me to make the damage good again! As well, to lean back on his shoulder and to be with Him! He never reproached me because he knew that I was sorry.
When I think now about the future of this week, this year and the rest of my life, and I will walk in his ways. I know that he still has a lot of good for me! He has a way where I will be amazed! And I know that he is with me, my good shepherd, my king and God.
How good are his thoughts for me! They are healing for body and soul. How good are His words, plans and ways to me! He leads me up to the rock which is too high for me. Yes, he gives me a solid foundation and is helping me to achieve goals that I would not make alone.
Please, Heavenly Father, know my thoughts, know my heart, try me, and you correct me! I want to go on the tried and true, eternal way! Take me to your hand and let’s walk together!
