You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,

The ruler of the world is brutal, hypocritical, murderous, quarrelsome, barbaric, hateful and an atheist. He does everything possible to let people listen to him and do his will. He has only one enemy: God. The ruler of the world wants to get God’s place. That’s why he always goes against the children of God and he makes their life difficult wherever he can.
But our God is not sleeping! HE keeps watching. HE listens to the prayer and the supplication of His children. He hears our prayers when we pray for our brothers and sisters. HE takes us into His arms and comforts us when it gets bad. He quenches all desires of my heart, even if I can not meet my every wish. HE strengthens my heart, so that I have courage and hope. HE takes care of the weak and we are His tool for it. HE has compassion for the fatherless and the oppressed, and wants to use us to share justice, mercy and love. And if we are in His kingdom, no one will spread fear and terror anymore. In His kingdom one respects the other. Everyone is excited about his siblings, everyone has a sincere love for the other. All debts we have done to each other is forgiven and forgotten. Nothing stands between us. Yes, I’m so happy about His kingdom! Everything what we lack here, there is in abundance there. There is an abundance of not only gold and precious stones, but also peace, joy, warm fellowship and love. Everything is permeated with wonderful music and bright light. Yes, HE enables me not spread more fear and terror!
Thank you, Jesus, You are the Lord above all! Not the enemy, these liars, murderers and swindlers have the last word, but you. You quench my desire, you listen to me and my prayer and you defend me. Yes, You are the God of my desire! I like to be in your country!
