How great is Your goodness, Lord,
which You have stored up for those who fear you,
which You bestowed in the sight of men

We need people through whom the goodness of God flows. Our world is rather egoistic, sometimes very brutal. Our living together is definitely not so as God likes it.Therefore people who are living in the goodness of God are so important for us. They are the light and hope in this world!
When Christians become entangled in grave theological struggles to fight for the true doctrine, then people have difficulties to see the goodness of God. Where Christians live their faith in a free and joyful way miracles happen. How wonderful it is when hard hearts of single mothers who have a tough going in Lithuania suddenly change through the touch of God. They are now filled with joy. The piece of God is in them. They became now true children of God. His light shines into the world! Now hope and security, piece and joy reign!
When we have tasted the goodness of God ourselves, received His help in difficult times, experienced His power then surely we will pass on His goodness to others. We never again want to harden our heart by being selfish, sinful, by living in compromises. We want to remain in the goodness of God, live His goodness which leads us to the heart of God. The practiced goodness of God should invite others to search the love of God. Let us not be frightened when people are bitter, hard, and vicious. Rely on God! Only His goodness is able to soften and to heal their hearts. He is powerful!
Thank You, Father, You have mercy on us. You like to show Your goodness, Your readiness to forgive, Your love and power. We wish to be blessed by them and well equipped. We want to penetrate this cold world with Your goodness and mercy. Use us, Your will be done. Your are strong and powerful. We count on Your help.
