A Pout – 2015.05.19

Be angry without sinning. Don’t let the sun set on your anger. Don’t provide an opportunity for the devil… Be kind, compassionate, and forgiving to each other, in the same way God forgave you in Christ.
Ephesians 4:26.27.32

Those who have not learned to forgive, should not go among people and not marry less than ever. Because it will be a disaster.
Since it is already difficult to forgive little things and to accept people who are a bit different as we are and not to want to transform them, there is much controversy and discord. In us disappointment and bitterness grows. And around us, the distance, the cold and even dispute arises.
A few days ago I witnessed a woman who was very nice, friendly and welcoming. But she conducted everything. Her husband stood by and smiled transfigured before him: On his wife he could rely on, she governs it all. But when something did not work to the conceptions of the woman, she got a pout. And this he feared more like everything else. This could namely go for weeks. Yes, she had learned to enforce her will.
God said that she has been spoiled a bit to much as a child. And since she has become accustomed to pout. If she did not get her will, she pouted until mom and dad did everything for them. With God, she tried it the same way. But God is loving and patient; He did not give in. So now she pouts constantly to God and cannot trust, that He manages everything; – She herself is responsible for everything. Oh, how hard does she make her life and the life of others!
How much does the unforgiveness and non-acceptance gnaw at our souls! How often does the woman have migraine, until she gets her will! How many days will the man stay silent, leaving his wife, who needs loving, uplifting words, starve!
The Bible says it quite differently: Do not worry about you yourself, but about God and others. Then you will get everything you need. Be merciful, and you will receive mercy. Be generous and you get paid a lot. Forgive, then you will be forgiven. Be patient, kind, friendly … but not only with yourself.
Do not trust the devil, the liar, what he tries to deceive you into thinking about your fellow man. And do not spread the lies and insinuations of the devil! Everything that somehow does not seem right, forgive immediately. Then your heart is free and unencumbered and the love of Jesus can fill it.
Thank you, Jesus, You are merciful to me! If You would treat me like I sometimes treat my fellow human beings, oh, that was bad for me! Lord, I want to forgive and be merciful, just as You are to me. I do not want to think badly and talk about others. I do not want to convert them until they please me. I do not want to control them, but accept and promote them. For You are good to me.
