… and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
2 Timothy 2, 26
Jesus wants all people to be freed from the power of the devil! Many do not realize that they are trapped in it. Even Christians fall for him and do not even notice it. But Jesus wants to destroy all the works of the devil, He wants us to be free, happy and powerful children of God!
A few days ago a father talked about his problem. His son, now 10 years old learned to speak, until 4 years ago he did not say anything. All studies showed no result, the child lacked nothing. In kindergarten, when the other children were singing, the boy stood next to them, as if it was nothing to do with him. In school, he could not learn to read. And then he began to hide behind the screen; Mobile, computers, television, – that was all he did not. He was able to speak, but he said almost nothing. We prayed for heavenly wisdom. And slowly a thought occurred: How was the pregnancy? The idea solidified and I got the suspicion that his own mother had cursed her child. So we set out in the name of Jesus to come against the curse and asked for forgiveness because of the negative that the boy had learned so early. This lasted actually only 10 minutes, but the result could be seen immediately. The child began to talk, flipped open his phone, looked up into the world and has since been a different child: open, talkative, not interested in computers, but in other children … just perfectly normal.
That is what Jesus means when He says He wants to free us from the power of the devil. I do not know what worked: Breaking the curse or forgiveness because of the negative, or both. But I know Jesus has answered our prayers. The boy has been transformed and the parents are very happy!!
There are many people, even Christians, with such bondages; – Trapped in the net of the devil. Strange behavior, anxiety, panic attacks, no joy, depression, suicidal thoughts, sexual perversions, blasphemous thoughts about God and Jesus, baseless doubts…. there is so much, that is certainly not normal or has no reason. Let us rather be free to live in the light and the joy of the Lord!
We need the wisdom and knowledge of God while praying. He wants to show us where the causes are, and He wants to fix it. If we seek the gifts of the Spirit: discernment, knowledge, power … They help to free people from the net.
We do not content ourselves with the fact that a man begins to live with Jesus. All old bondages can be torn. We want free, cheerful, solid Christians!
Thank You, Jesus, You came to save us! You want to free us from the power of the devil and fill us with real life. Joy, peace and strength to meet us! Please help us, that we may know where the nets are established and where we are trapped. You alone are the Lord!
