Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does propers.
Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
Psalm 1
How wonderful! God knows His people! He is faithful, He is good, He is righteous! He knows our way which leads to Him our only goal. Even the famous Pharaos in Agypt who wanted to be immortal and built the pyramides for that reason, they are forgotten. Forgotten are the names of many of them. But even if one name is mentioned nothing is known about the man himself. However, the Lord knows each of His children. None of them He will forget. Everything is written in His Book, nothing is forgotten – only our confessed failure and trespasses. He is faithful! He keeps His promise and never forget His people. The wicked, however, are blown away by the wind like chaff: today a king and nothing tomorrow! The humble small deeds of God`s children never will be forgotten. He, who is faithful, will remember those forever.
Thank you, Father in Heaven, You think of me always! Even if my strength is not as great and do not bring about great changes in the world, yet You are faithful to me. You are holding me in your Hands and I will go my way with confidence in You.
