I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121: 1-2Our God is an awesome God! Everything pleases Him, He accomplishes everything. He made ​​heaven and earth. He has done everything as he liked. Nothing and no one can stand against this powerful, almighty, eternal God.
How fortunate that we are on his side! We belong to him, the mighty God! Since we are on the winning side we are safe! He himself is our refuge.
When we worry and huge mountains, problems and hostility surround and crush us, then know: Our God is even stronger, bigger, more powerful. Should he forget even once for a single second his child? Should he allow it, that the evil will win a single time? No, he is the guardian of Israel, HE neither slumbers nor sleeps.
He has the matter in hand. No one can snatch us out of His hand. He cares, he’s worried about us, he is our refuge, He gives blessings, he is always constantly there for us.
The mountains are not greater than heaven and earth. Since we can rest easy. For us the mountains are huge, but not for God. He shall save his child.
Even today God is there. He is the father for his children. We can trust Him and boldly go ahead. Much wants to destroy our faith and trust, but we do not allow that. We look not to the concerns and mountains, but to Jesus, who loved us. We say: Yes, Lord, today you are there, even today you will get through me, even today, you hold your strong hand upon me!
Thank you, Jesus, You are there! You’re the Savior and Redeemer, in you and with you I can boldly go through the day. Much lies in front of me and wants to scare me. But in your hand will be all right. How good that we come together!

he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
