Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Matthew 5, 9

Jesus is the greatest peacemaker who ever lived. HE managed to create peace between God and man; – no one else has succeeded.
God is an incorruptibly just judge, holy, eternal, omnipotent, omnipresent. How could a man in his impurity, with his bad thoughts and habits, with his blunted conscience, survive in His presence? It is not possible.
But Jesus gave Himself as a sacrifice in our place. He hung on the cross and received the punishment for all our sins. And God accepted this vicarious sacrifice and simply tore through the bond that spoke against us. It is gone. And now we no longer need to pay for our sins and we need not expect any more punishment; – it has been paid, once.  Twice it is not possible.
Jesus has simply paid off our debt; – and now I am free of debt and pure before God; I am sinless thanks to Jesus. That is why it is possible for Him to dwell in me and take a place in my heart.
And so peace has come between God and man. And now man can return to his destiny. Man was created for paradise, where he should rule and make everything subject to himself; he should order everything and take care of everything. Now we may work on our destiny.
Peace between God and man, harmony not only with creation, but even with the Creator.
Where else is there a way to get close to Him? To find harmony? To have peace?

Thank You Jesus, You are my Saviour, my Redeemer, my Christ and Messiah! You have reconciled me with God, my Creator. Thank You, I now have access to my Heavenly Father, He is no longer my judge, He is my Father! Thank You Jesus, I love You!!
