Or do you show contempt for the riches of His kindness, forebearance and patience, not realising that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?
Romans 2:4

If God would always talk seriously with us and punish us immediately for our sins and mistakes, we would be the best people. But only out of fear of punishment, not out of love for God. That is why God has decided not to punish during this time; – not at all. But we struggle to believe that. It is very, very hard for us to believe that He really forgives every sin. Strange, isn’t it?
HE forgives the one who does evil to us. HE forgives your neighbor, your spouse, your parents or children, HE forgives the tyrants and murderous mercenaries …. HE forgives. Jesus once said that the reason for damnation is that they do not believe Him. That alone is decisive for our future after the Last Judgment: believe in Jesus or not.
HE says that He has forgiven you. Now please believe Him! Or do you despise the riches of His patience, goodness and longsuffering?
God wants your conversion, away from sin and selfishness, away from greed and self-pity. But the only means He uses is His goodness. to entice you to leave evil behind and follow Him.
Zacchaeus wanted to give back all his wealth, which he had acquired wrongfully at the customs – voluntarily, without pressure from Jesus, only out of love for this wonderful LORD.
The easy girls left their “profession” because He accepted them as they were. They stopped sinning and became new people. Only through His kindness and love were they able to do so. Threats and punishments would not have done it.
Please, dear brothers and sisters, let us not play with the love of Jesus. It cost Him so much, He left His life in agony on the cross, only for you and me! Let us seek His love, and change out of love for Him, become more like Him and lead a pure life. HE is worth it!

Yes Jesus, I love You because You loved me first. You gave everything for me so that I could be saved and free. Now I want to give everything for You, because I love You. You are wonderful!
