How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
even life for evermore.
Psalm 133,1.3
Yes, it is wonderful to be part of God’s big family!  We feel comfortable, accepted and welcome when we can live together in harmony and unity.
I was in a meeting where everyone cared for one another.  Would you like a cookie?  Have you enough tea?  Please tell me what is on your mind!-  that reminds me of the verse in the Bible: Be devoted to one another in love…
Or:  Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another. … Or:  Carry each other’s burdens…
Oh how wonderful life is in this family of God!  Someone may even have a “false” opinion about God or the Bible, but they are never judged.  Someone may not be a great speaker, but everyone has patience and tries to understand.  Someone might be fighting a personal battle, but everyone remembers that everyone is fighting his own battle.  No one is judged, rather everyone helps everyone on the road to God.  Love is spread instead of harsh words.  Oh how wonderful life is in this congregation of brothers!
And when these brothers join to sing songs of praise!  What an impact.  They do not have the best voices and do not always sing on cue, but it is the heart that sings.  And that touches my heart.  There I can join in with an overflowing heart and offer the greatest King of Kings my praise and thanks!  He is with us, we can feel Him!  There the soul and the body are healed, the heart comes to rest!
And when we pray together, God is there.  A heavenly peace descends.  The heart prays, and everyone joins in.  the joy and peace that is God spreads.  Problems are no longer unsolvable.  Only unity with the Almighty, the Lord of Lords, remains. Then thanks and praise arises, because He conquers all.
It is good when brothers are together in unity!  God’s blessing flows, the power of God is at work and new people emerge.
Thank You Jesus, for being so visible and palpable!  I love being in the company of brothers, having You between us.  You can work healing and sanctification;- we want to belong to You.
